Polaris Home Style have now opened an outlet store which has a wide selection of indoor and outdoor furniture. The store offers previous seasons furniture at very competitive prices. The shop is open 6 days a week, Monday to Saturday. In the morning it is open from 10am until 2pm and in the afternoon it is open from 4pm to 8pm. The store is located on the main road between San Javier and Murcia at Km 1. From San Javier, drive past La Torre Golf Resort and El Valle Golf Resort and it is on the right hand side a little way after El Valle.

El Valle Golf Resort is the third of the Polaris World Resorts to open and now there is a show villa on the resort. The villa is a Villa Algaba, a 3 bedroom luxury villa with its own private pool. El Valle Golf Resort has both apartments and villas and it is nestled below the El Valle nature reserve, between Murcia and the Mar Menor Sea. El Valle is smaller and more exclusive than the other Polaris Resorts and there are only a handful of villas and apartments still available. A brand new motorway has just opened connecting Cartagena to Almeria. This is the first of three new roads which will dramatically change the connections to the Costa Calida area. The other two roads are still under construction, due to open this year. The main resort to benefit from these new connections is Condado de Alhama, although all resorts will now have better access to Almeria and Granada, including the skiing areas of the Sierra Nevada. The new section of the AP7 motorway leads from Cartagena, past Mazarron and down to Almeria.

A brand new release of the popular ‘Jardines’ style apartments at Condado de Alhama. Located in one of the most elevated areas of the resort, these apartments are set to have fantastic views of the Sierra Espuna and other mountain ranges in the area. Located just 700 meters from the golf clubhouse and close to a host of sporting facilities these apartments are in a very convenient location. Like the other Jardines apartments, many of these properties overlook pools and gardens and a footpath around El Mirador will have four viewing points towards the mountains. April sees the launch of Polaris World Golf Academy. The courses are designed for adults who are new to the sport and they will be a perfect way to get started. Golf balls and clubs will be provided, so it is risk-free way to see whether golf is for you. The classes are an hour a week, any day from Monday to Saturday, and they will be held from the 23rd April until the 12th of May. The class sizes will be between 4 and 8 and the cost is just twenty nine Euros. For those that aren’t new to the sport, there also both individual and group lessons available.

Now you do not have to have to have a Polaris World Internet contract to access the internet at any of the Polaris World Resorts. Pre-pay internet cards let you access the internet from your villa or from the desgnated areas in the resort. There is WiFi at both Mar Menor and La Torre golf resorts and there are permanent internet connections at Mar Menor Social Club, La Torre Club house and the garden centre. Look out for the ‘AreaNet’ zones to connect wirelessly. Pre-pay internet cards are available at the petrol station, Pino’s bar, the call centre in both resorts and the garden centre. Once you have got a card, simply open your internet browser, use the password details on the card and follow the instructions to get online.
