There are seven Polaris World Resorts to choose from, so we have put together some information to help you decide which one is best for you.

All of the resorts are based around golf courses and have swimming pools, restaurants, bars, sports facilities and shops. The off-plan properties are normally cheaper than the properties that are ready now.

Overview of the Polaris Resorts

Condada de Alhama is due to be the largest resort, with the most extensive facilities, including 3 Jack Nicklaus courses. The resort is located close to the Spanish beach town of Mazarron and is 15 minutes from the beach and about 15 minutes away from the new airport at Corvera. Condado de Alhama has some of the best value property at Polaris World, with 1 bedroom apartments starting from just £63,000. Condado is made up of a number of different areas, including Jardines de Naranjos, El Mirador and La Isla. Each area has its own facilities, in addition to the Oasis Town Centre which will have a wide variety of restaurants, bars and shops. Terrazas de La Torre has apartments and penthouses around an 18 hole course. Terrazas de La Torre will be the second biggest of the Polaris World resorts, with the facilities to match. It will be located just a couple of kilometres from La Torre Golf Resort, giving easy access to a second 18 hole course. Terrazas has 1 - 3 bedroom apartments and is about 10 minutes from the beach. One of the most popular areas of Terrazas are the island apartments: Las Islas de las Terrazas

Mar Menor is the original Polaris Resort and has a selection of villas and townhouses. It has been open and running for several years and has a 5* Intercontinental Hotel. The 9 hole golf course is going to be expanded to 18, with the addition of the second phase of the resort. The second phase has townhouses, villas and apartments and the apartments are the most spacious of any at Polaris World. The resort is only 5 minutes from the beach.

La Torre Golf Resort was the second resort to open and the 18 hole golf course is proving very popular. There are apartments, villas and townhouses at La Torre. Facilities at La Torre include swimming pools, supermarket, clubhouse, bar, restaurants, tennis courts and health shop. The 5* Intercontinental hotel will open this year. La Torre is home to the King's College School, which is already open to younger children and will be offering the English syllabus from 4-18 years, plus a nursery for 2-4 year olds.

La Loma is a small sports focused resort equipped with football pitches, lots of tennis courts and an Olympic size pool. La Loma has a range of luxury villas and apartments of a very modern design. It will have a 9 hole golf course and is about 15 minutes from the beach.

Hacienda Riquelme only has apartments and penthouses and is a similar style to La Torre Golf Resort, with one of the longest 18 hole golf courses of Polaris World. The first properties at Hacienda are currently being handed over. It is about 15 minutes from the beach and about 25 minutes from Murcia City.

El Valle is an exclusive, luxury resort, with an 18 hole golf course, apartments, penthouses and villas. There are just a handful of properties left on this resort. It is about 20 minutes from the beach and nestled in front of the El Valle Nature Reserve, which provides a beautiful mountain backdrop. The 18 hole golf course opened in mid 2007 and is seen to be one of the most interesting and challenging courses to play.
